      Key Responsibilities:
      • Prepare and raise purchase orders in SAP in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
      • Procure powertrain prototype parts (engine, transmission, battery systems) in coordination with international teams.
      • Validate requirement accuracy and ensure suppliers meet delivery expectations.
      • Act as an interface between suppliers and cross-functional teams including Design, Quality, Production, and Purchasing.
      • Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, quality, delivery, and invoicing.
      • Represent the organization in technical discussions with Germany and global stakeholders.
      • Maintain supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation while ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
      • Analyze failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to meet project timelines and quality targets.
      • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance project value and optimize procurement processes.

      Required Skills and Experience:
      • 2–8 years of experience in Powertrain domain (Engine, Transmission, or Battery Systems preferred).
      • Strong experience in procuring prototype parts for engine, transmission, and battery systems.
      • Hands-on experience with SAP procurement modules, including material ordering and purchase order management.
      • Good understanding of powertrain components, sub-systems, and Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM).
      • Basic knowledge of powertrain development lifecycle and manufacturing processes.
      • Experience in supplier coordination, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
      • Strong presentation, documentation, and communication skills.
      • Quick learner with strong analytical abilities and effective team collaboration skills.
      • Knowledge of automotive processes and components is an added advantage.

      Educational Qualifications:
      • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related discipline.
      • Additional certifications in Supply Chain, SAP, or Project Management are an added advantage.

      Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
      • Experience working with international stakeholders, particularly Germany-based teams.
      • German language proficiency is a strong advantage.
      • Exposure to global automotive development processes and prototype sourcing projects.
