What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct an independent external review of the Regional Action Forum (RAF) focusing on its effectiveness and impact
- Analyze coordination efforts and identify key challenges and lessons learned from RAF's activities
- Engage in qualitative research, including stakeholder interviews and background research
- Evaluate RAF's approach to child marriage prevention and its engagement with affected communities
- Develop recommendations for the sustainable future of the RAF platform
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Advanced university degree (Master’s) in public relations, international development studies, social sciences, public policy, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience conducting qualitative research, including stakeholder interviews and analytical reporting
- Demonstrated technical expertise in gender equality, prevention of harmful practices, and child protection
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills, with a proven track record of producing high-quality evaluation reports
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in engaging with community stakeholders, particularly girls, women, and survivors of child marriage
- Familiarity with the UN humanitarian system and frameworks related to child protection
- Knowledge of innovative approaches to social norms change and advocacy in child protection contexts
