      Job Summary

      Work Schedule:

      (4)10-hour shifts- 11am to 9:30 pm with call rotation

      (5) 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Start time varies from 7am-8:30am with call rotation.

      • Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
      • Deliver excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns.
      • Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
      • Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
      • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

      Qualifications

      Education Requirements

      • Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
      • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

      Experience

      • 2 years of perioperative experience, preferred
      • 2 years of critical care experience; required

      Certification and Licensure

      • PA Registered Nurse License
      • BLS
      • ACLS
      • PALS

      Overview
