What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle inbound calls from patients to resolve billing-related inquiries
- Research and reconcile aged patient accounts and credit balance accounts
- Collaborate with patients, clinicians, insurers, and management to ensure efficient processing
- Review insurance coverage for genetic testing and document activities appropriately
- Participate in the Quality Assurance plan and comply with CLIA and HIPAA regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year of customer service or call center experience
- 1 year of experience in medical billing, health insurance, or collections
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Insurance billing experience
- Working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Ability to navigate multiple systems effectively
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
