Build, manage, and convert a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities.
Lead end-to-end deal execution, including sourcing, business case creation, modeling, and negotiation.
Represent BD in internal workstreams and ensure readiness for partner launch.
Ensure deals support enterprise revenue, margin, and compliance requirements.
Deliver reporting and insights to SVP-level leadership.
Build relationships with key external executives and internal stakeholders.
10+ years of experience in Business Development or related fields.
Successful track record closing multi-year commercial partnerships.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Experience influencing senior executives and negotiating strategic matters.
Cross-functional collaboration experience.

This position is classified as structured hybrid, with an expectation of a minimum of three (3) days per week working in the office and flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days. On-site expectations may evolve over time to support business needs, with clear communication provided in advance.

Job Summary
The Director, Business Development is responsible for driving partner acquisition, revenue expansion, and execution of strategic deals across Green Dot’s embedded finance, retail, GDN, and money‑movement offerings. This role translates enterprise strategies into actionable commercial plans and leads cross-functional deal execution.
