- Act as the focal engineer for aircraft display systems, supporting system-level requirements definition and decomposition.
- Ensure display system requirements align with overall aircraft system architecture and operational needs.
- Support requirements validation, verification, and certification activities in compliance with ARP4754A.
- Author, review, and manage system and subsystem requirements using Jama.
- Maintain bidirectional traceability between requirements, design artifacts, and verification evidence.
- Support audits and certification reviews by ensuring requirements completeness and traceability.
- Develop, review, and execute system-level and subsystem-level test procedures.
- Apply appropriate requirement verification methods, including analysis, test, inspection, and demonstration.
- Ensure verification activities and artifacts comply with ARP4754A verification and traceability processes.
- Investigate and reproduce issues originating from flight crew observations and flight test activities.
- Perform system- and subsystem-level troubleshooting and fault isolation.
- Correlate flight test data with system requirements and expected system behavior.
- Manage problem reports, verification tasks, and workflows using Jira.
- Configure and maintain Jira dashboards, filters, and reports to support engineering project tracking and visibility.
- Support cross-functional teams by clearly communicating issue status, impacts, and resolution progress.
- Minimum of 3 years of displays engineering experience on commercial aircrafts.
- Experience in ARP4745A system development lifecycle.
- Proficiency with Jama for requirements management.
- Experience with Jira for configuration and issue management.
- 5 years of commercial aircraft displays engineering experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Simulink.
- Master's or PhD in engineering or a similar degree is highly advantageous.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $66.00/hr.
