What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle Prior Authorizations (PAs) and Insurance Verification processes
- Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance payers via telephone and email
- Verify patients' insurance coverage accurately and efficiently
- Manage inbound and outbound calls from patients and insurance providers
- Ensure compliance with attendance policies and requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be able to pick up equipment in Irving, TX
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Medical Insurance, specifically in Prior Authorization
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid program administration
- Knowledge of Insurance Verification and claim adjudication or medical billing
- Familiarity with ICD-10, HCPCS, or CPT is a significant advantage
