      The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of the restaurant and must also direct, implement and maintain a service and leadership philosophy which serves as a guide for respective staff while emphasizing the importance of quality customer service. The Restaurant Supervisor must have knowledge of all food and beverages served. Some duties include participating in daily meetings with chef and AM and PM staff, helping to prepare schedules, documenting attendance, assigning duties, monitoring staff performance, anticipating guest’s needs and responding promptly to those needs as well as assisting staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service. We are seeking a personable, organized, and capable leader who can effectively supervise a department under the standards of Shaner Hotels.

      High School graduate or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in a restaurant, preferably in a leadership role. Food Safety certification and alcohol awareness certification desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
