      Overview

      BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a RF Systems Engineer with 10+ years of system-level RF analysis experience, to work on a program at Point Mugu, Ca.       Salary

      The typical annual salary range for this position is $120,000.00 USD to $180,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.

      Responsibilities

      • Translate CONOPS into RF system requirements and constraints
      • Perform propagation, link budget, and interference analysis
      • Model systems in MATLAB/Simulink and analyze waveform performance
      • Verify that component-level designs satisfy system-level requirements
      • Generate system trade studies and recommendations
      • Support the system design for autonomous and remote platform and payload control
      • Support test plan development and data analysis

      Qualifications

      • 10 years’ experience as an RF Systems Engineer
      • 5+ years RF systems engineering experience
      • Proficient in MATLAB and system simulation tools
      • Experience with DSP, BER/EVM analysis, constellation and eye diagram interpretation
      • Strong understanding of RF propagation, link budget, spectrum regulations
      • Experience with spectrum/signal analyzers and I/Q analysis

      EDUCATION

      Degree: BS in Electrical Engineering (MS/PhD preferred) or a relevant technical discipline

      CLEARANCE – SECRET

      Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD SECRET Clearance. The applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
