Job Description Summary:
We are currently seeking for a motivated and experienced candidate to take up the position of Sales & Account Manager and work independently to make sure sales targets are met within the designated sales area or territory. Area Sales Managers develop a close relationship with all their major accounts to grow business organically and find new business. Area Sales Managers are experts in understanding their products, market area, trends, opportunities and competitive activity. Position will be based in Canada and report directly to the North Regional Vice President.
Job Description:
Responsibility for Canada and Northeast United States.
Finding new customers and constantly expanding the business
Monitoring sales data and keeping up to date with current market trends and customer needs
First class consultative sales skills
Monitor sales and profit for each account
Preparing account profiles for company
Identify and create a strong loyal relationship with all decision makers
Use pareto analysis to ensure top accounts giving 80% of the business are lot lost and grow
Ability to complete management reports on time essential
Aware of applicable company KPIs and business plan
Be aware of all competitive activities within major accounts
Good disciplined use of CRM and administration
Sales presentations for clients showing the success and credibility of the business and its products
Give pricing information to management and make recommendations
Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers if appropriate
Create sales strategies for sales manager/ director to approve
Job Qualifications:
5 Years experience in poultry production sales
Understanding of poultry technology and current best management practices in the following areas: Breeder Production, Broiler Production, Ventilation, and Processing.
Strong Breeder experience required.
Excellent presentation and computer skills including e-mail, spreadsheets, use of computer database, formal letter writing, and economic modeling
Strong numerical and analytical abilities
Strong interpersonal skills including leadership, personal accountability, time management, conflict management, and good organizational skills.
Ability to perform significant overnight travel
Creative mind, outgoing personality and friendly with excellent communication skills including the ability to present to any level of corporate management including Power Point, written communication, oral communication, negotiations, meeting skills, and social skills.About the company
