      Required Qualifications

      • Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience. Bachelor's degree must be within one of these disciplines: Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Data Science.
      • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, requirements include four (4) years of additional relevant experience or specialized training, and one of the following active certifications: Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP.
      • Active Secret Clearance.
      • Required Certifications:
        • Active IAT Level I
        • Salesforce Platform Administrator
      • 4+ years of Salesforce development and architecture experience (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components).
      • Hands-on experience with Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, CMS, Marketing Cloud, and Lightning App Builder.
      • Proficiency in declarative automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, validation rules).
      • Strong grasp of Salesforce security: OWD, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules/sets.
      • Proven experience building public-facing web forms, registration portals, and templated communications.
      • Ability to translate mission requirements into technical solutions and communicate trade-offs.
      • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Salesforce certifications: Marketing Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, Platform App Builder, Experience Cloud Consultant (or ability to obtain).
      • Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions across full project life cycles.
      • Prior experience supporting DoD or federal environments; familiarity with Salesforce GovCloud.
      • Understanding of Jira–Salesforce integration and API-based record syncing.
      • Familiarity with OmniStudio or advanced low-code tools for guided user experiences.

      Peraton is seeking a Salesforce Technical Advisor to support federal government initiatives. In this strategic role, you’ll lead efforts to optimize, maintain, and scale Salesforce applications that support Partner management, marketing, event coordination, and service tracking. As a technical lead and trusted advisor, you’ll shape secure and efficient Salesforce solutions aligned with DoD mission requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with Customer Engagement, IT, and Salesforce delivery teams to drive platform enhancements, integrations, and user adoption across departments.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Refine and maintain the Salesforce roadmap in collaboration with delivery teams
      • Optimize Service Cloud for scalable case management, role-based access, and secure data sharing
      • Enhance Marketing Cloud for campaign automation, asset management, and performance tracking
      • Develop and maintain Experience Cloud sites in compliance with DoD security standards
      • Manage and enforce role-based access controls and sharing models
      • Build and maintain declarative automations (Flows, validation rules, approval processes)
      • Facilitate integrations and API-based record sharing with connected systems
      • Create dashboards and reports for campaign performance, event metrics, and service SLAs
      • Lead data hygiene and governance efforts (deduplication, cleanup)
      • Establish documentation, coding standards, and data dictionaries
      • Partner with stakeholders to ensure adoption, consistency, and continuous improvement
