      Job summary

      Cuffley and Goffs Oak Medical Practicehas an opportunity for anadministrator to join ourbusy practice. The role will support the secretarialteam,on apart-time basis for 25 hours per week

      Main duties of the job

      as follows:

      Monday:9am to 2pm

      Wednesday:9am to 5pm

      Thursday:9am to 2pm

      Friday:8am to 5pm

      We are a large practice based over two sites (just one mile apart) which are Valley View Health Centre and Cuffley Village Surgery.

      About us

      We have a happy, established team that consists of GPs, nurses, HCAs and paramedics who are all supported by an experienced and organised admin team. We are also joined regularly and supported by colleagues from our primary care network.

      We use SystemOne as our clinical system and also utilise Accurx and Footfall to support our processes.

      Job responsibilities

      The main responsibilities of the role include:

      • Supporting the secretarial team with administrative duties and typing where necessary
      • Data entry and read coding of relevant patient information and medical data into the clinical system
      • Scanning patient information into computerised records, including medical documents, hospital records and letters, as necessary
      • Photocopying documents as required
      • Raising and dealing with referrals to primary care
      • Actioning tasks set by clinicians and other staff members
      • Processing practice emails
      • Efficiently handling phone enquires from patients and clinicians.
