  Security Engineer II – AI Security Analyst

  Location: This is a hybrid opportunity in Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurugram area.

  About the role

  As a Security Engineer II – AI Security Analyst, you will be responsible for helping implement and operate the AI Security Program. You’ll use data security and cloud security tools to discover AI usage, guard data and identities, and monitor/remediate issues across Microsoft and multi-cloud environments. Along the way, you will get to:

  • Onboard AI apps/agents and related telemetry into inventory (e.g., Agent 365) and SIEM; assist with shadow-AI discovery across SaaS and internal services using DSPM and cloud telemetry
  • Enforce data classification/labeling and DLP for AI prompts/outputs in Purview; raise exceptions and coordinate approvals as needed
  • Apply non-human identities (Entra Agent ID / Managed Identity) and Conditional Access baselines for agents/services
  • Validate Foundry safety filters and content safety guardrails for high-risk use cases prior to release
  • Help ensure model endpoints use Private Link / deny public endpoints and egress is restricted to approved data sources
  • Operationalize detections in Sentinel; triage Defender/Purview alerts; run SOAR playbooks and document actions; escalate complex cases
  • Track vulnerabilities/posture issues in DSPM (Purview, Wiz) and coordinate remediation with app/data owners
  • Produce weekly posture reports (exposure, DLP violations, identity risks) and contribute to runbooks, FAQs, and short enablement sessions
  • Work collaboratively with IT and business stakeholders to align Cybersecurity initiatives with broader organizational goals and objectives
  • Provide technical input and support in resource planning and roadmap execution for Cybersecurity and AI governance initiatives
  • Implement, configure, and administrate cybersecurity tools and processes related to AI security, risk management, and governance

  What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ Experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or a related field
  • 3–5 years in Security Operations, Cloud Security, or Data Security; hands on in M365/Azure.

  • Practical experience with at least two of: Purview (DLP/Information Protection), Wiz (DSPM for AI), Sentinel, Defender, Entra ID/Conditional Access, Azure networking (VNets, Private Link), API Gateway/APIM.

  • Comfortable reading logs and documenting incidents with clear recommendations.

  • Exposure to Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Microsoft AI Gateway, Agent 365; familiarity with Cranium (AI risk) or Cyera/Reco for data discovery.

  • Understanding of AI safety filters and prompt security concepts (prompt injection, jailbreaks).

  • Strong knowledge of AI technologies, cybersecurity principles, and risk management practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across various levels of the organization.

  • Foundational skills in data engineering, cybersecurity, intelligent automation, machine learning and emerging technologies.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
