Job Description

- Interior and exterior patrols
- Locking and unlocking doors
- Assisting staff and students on campus
- Access control, security escorts, service call response and report writing
- Property inspections and enforcement of property laws, client rules, and other regulations
- Assist in the event of an emergency, first aid or any other intervention
- Interact with students, visitors, customers and the general public on a regular basis
- Maintain social distancing
- Detect, challenge and displace unwanted people
- Evacuate the building in case of emergency

- Valid Provincial Security Guard license
- Valid G/G-2 license and a clean abstract a must
- Valid First Aid and CPR C, AED certification
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Vulnerable Sector Check Clearance required
We are looking for Full Time Security Guards to work at a university located in St. Catharines. Your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of our client’s tenants, visitors, and assets in a professional and courteous manner. You will enjoy regular and diverse interactions with the public, while also being expected to maintain the highest degree of professionalism and customer service.
Schedule: Continental Rotational shifts; 2 Days followed by 2 nights followed by 4 days off. 0600-1800 and 1800-0600
Location: 15 Artists Common, St. Catharines
Hourly pay rate: $17.55
