Responds to, assesses and takes control of incidents and investigations that occur within their office property or service area involving Central Hudson Gas & Electric personnel and/or property
Prepares and submits investigative reports, criminal depositions, and other court related documentation
Conducts annual emergency response drills with the First Responder community
Participates in the Revenue Recovery Program
Conducts physical security inspections of substations within their assigned region
Directly supervises the contracted uniformed guards in their service area
Assists Human Resources with confidential investigations
Assists with storm outage duties
High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years of law enforcement experience
Excellent report writing, communication and computer skills
Investigatory and skilled interview experience and the ability and willingness to accept additional responsibilities as necessary
Extensive travel throughout the Company’s service territory as well as a willingness to meet non-traditional time demands of the position
Valid driver’s license
Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Psychology, Public Safety, Forensics, Emergency Management or related field
Incident Command System (ICS) training
Established first responder network throughout the Central Hudson territory.
