      THE JOB:

      We’re looking for a dynamic Security Manager to lead at one of the most iconic and high-energy destinations on the Las Vegas Strip, MGM Grand. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of creating a safe, welcoming, and seamless environment for guests and team members across a resort known for world-class entertainment, championship events, premier dining, and large-scale conventions.

      You’ll serve as a key leader for safety and security operations, guiding a dedicated team, overseeing high-profile and high-volume events, and responding decisively in fast-paced, complex situations.       THE DAY-TO-DAY:

      • Lead the security and support staff during daily operations and events, including creating schedules, assigning work and coverage, handling payroll and PTO, training and evaluating officers, and managing discipline when needed
      • Build strong, effective teams by interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and giving performance reviews
      • Create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and respect through recognition and feedback
      • Share any updates to policies and procedures clearly with the team, and offer suggestions for improvements when needed
      • Carry out the department’s strategies and goals to deliver top-level safety and service
      • Use guest feedback and performance data to make improvements and ensure a high level of satisfaction across the property or venue
      • Take charge as the Incident Commander during emergencies

      THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

      • Must be 21 years of age or older
      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
      • Two (2) years of prior relevant experience in Security operations, government, or private industry experience in the security field, including previous experience preparing risk assessments and operational security plans, and conducting safety reviews and after-action reports required
      • Previous leadership experience in a similar or related setting preferred
      • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
