      Job Description

      As a Security Officer - Dispatch Coordinator in KANSAS CITY, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will coordinate security-related responses, monitor alarms and access activity, and keep clear communication flowing between officers and site leadership. You will help to maintain a visible, professional presence, document incidents, and support routine patrol coverage and emergency notifications.       What You'll Do:

      • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
      • Monitor alarm panels, surveillance systems, and communication channels, dispatching officers and/or notifying appropriate personnel based on established protocols.
      • Receive and prioritize incoming calls, radio traffic, and service requests, documenting activity and maintaining accurate incident and shift logs.
      • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating response actions and maintaining clear communication with on-site staff.
      • Support regular and random patrol coverage by tracking officer status, routing assignments, and reporting issues to site leadership as needed.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
      • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
      • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
