As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, coordinate visitor and vendor check-in, and support traffic flow for deliveries and pickups. You will maintain clear communication, document security-related activity, and conduct routine rounds as needed to help identify concerns early.       What You'll Do:

      • Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
      • Control access to the facility by checking identification and/or credentials, managing visitor sign-in and sign-out, and directing drivers and visitors to designated areas.
      • Monitor inbound and outbound traffic at gates and entry points, verify shipments and/or deliveries per post orders, and maintain required logs and reports.
      • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
      • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including warehouse areas, dock doors, trailer yards, and parking areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
      • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
      • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
      • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
      • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
