- This posting is for multiple openings of a Security Officer, Hobbs, NM
- This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled.
- This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below:
- Hobbs, NM
- Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements.
- Work Status Available:
- Full time, Day
- Per Diem / On Call, Night
Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies.
- Within 30 days of hire Texas Non-Commissioned Security Officer - Texas Private Security Board - Texas Department of Public Safety
- Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
- 1 or more years of experience in: Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or Police experience, preferably within a hospital or campus environment.

Security Officer, Hobbs, NM
Under general supervision, patrols assigned areas of the CHS campus to deter, detect and investigate crime and/or any suspicious activity, which could cause harm to individuals or property. Provides information and assistance to patients, employees and visitors. Writes detailed incident reports, and various other reports as required. Takes and maintains control of disruptive individuals for arrest by Lubbock Police Department, when situations warrant this action. Primary emphasis is placed on the safety of the individual and loss prevention. After completion of classroom and practical instructions, will at all times while on duty carry Department issued handcuffs and non-lethal device.
