      As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel and/or resort location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist guests and staff with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and support a caring, agile team that delivers through teamwork and integrity.

      What You'll Do:

      • Provide customer service to guests, members, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a hotel and/or resort setting.
      • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, access issues, disturbances, and/or medical events, and communicate updates to site leadership as needed.
      • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of lobbies, hallways, amenity areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
      • Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify access authorization when required, and support crowd and/or traffic flow during peak periods and special events.
      • Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and relay maintenance and/or hazard concerns to the appropriate personnel.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
      • A guard card/license is preferred.
      • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
      • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
      • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
      • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
      • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
