- Provide customer service to guests, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, lost and found issues, and/or guest assistance requests.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior and exterior areas including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and common areas, assist with crowd and/or event support as needed, and communicate professionally with property staff to address security-related concerns.
- Document observations, patrol activity, and incident details in written reports and/or electronic systems, and promptly escalate issues through the chain of command.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Having access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Having customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Property Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol guest and staff areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, assist with access control, and provide clear, courteous communication to visitors and team members.
