- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, missing persons reports, and other security-related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Control access through designated entrances and restricted areas by checking identification, logging visitors, and directing foot and vehicle traffic according to site procedures.
- Document security-related activity by completing patrol logs, incident reports, and dispatch communications, and coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
- Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Job Description
As a Security Officer - Medical Center Patrol Driver in Modesto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer in a primarily driving post. You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and support, and communicate clearly with site leadership and emergency partners.
