      Job Description

      As a Security Officer - Office Tower Front Desk in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will manage visitor check-in, monitor access, answer calls and questions, observe cameras and lobby activity, document incidents, and communicate with property staff and responding resources as needed.       What You'll Do:

      • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and access control protocols for a commercial property.
      • Greet and screen visitors, issue visitor credentials as required, and direct guests and/or vendors to the appropriate contacts or areas.
      • Monitor entry points, cameras and/or alarm panels as assigned, and document unusual activity for security-related follow-up.
      • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities per post orders.
      • Complete required reports, logs, and pass-downs, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
      • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
      • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
      • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
      • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
      • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
      • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
