      Job Description

      As a Security Officer - Visitor Management in SALINAS, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will manage access control, verify credentials, greet employees and visitors, and monitor entries and exits to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, use computer or tablet systems, and communicate clearly with site teams.       What You'll Do:

      • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
      • Control access at employee, visitor, and vendor entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor passes, and documenting arrivals and departures per site procedures.
      • Screen and process deliveries and service providers by confirming appointments, reviewing shipping and receiving paperwork, and directing drivers to designated check-in and staging areas.
      • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, completing incident documentation, and assisting with on-site response activities as directed.
      • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, including parking areas, loading docks, and exterior access points, while reporting unusual conditions and/or policy concerns.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Customer service experience is preferred.
      • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
      • Having a Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
      • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
      • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
      • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
      • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
      • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
