      Your Impact

      As a Senior Air Quality Project Manager, you will play a key leadership role in delivering highquality technical solutions and supporting the growth of our air quality practice. Your responsibilities will include:

      • Preparing proposals for air quality permitting and environmental support projects.
      • Managing projects and tasks related to complex air quality permitting and compliance services
      • Assisting clients in determining federal and state air quality regulatory applicability and developing strategies and systems for compliance
      • Interfacing with State air quality agencies and the EPA on behalf of clients
      • Collaborating closely with WSP colleagues, external consultants, and legal teams to support clients’ air quality needs
      • Advocating for WSP clients by keeping them informed of regulatory changes and issues that impact their business
      • Participating in public meetings and hearings on behalf of clients
      • Calculating emissions and evaluating air emissions control technologies
      • Participating in environmental compliance audits
      • Performing and ensuring QA/QC of technical work products
      • Mentoring and supporting the professional development of WSP’s technical staff
      • Supporting business development efforts through client engagement, professional associations, conferences, tradeshows, and webinars
      • Contributing to internal marketing materials and authoring technical articles for WSP publications

      Who You Are

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related science or engineering discipline
      • 10+ years of air permitting and compliance experience, preferably in Texas
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including technical writing, presentations, and direct client interaction
      • Demonstrated experience interpreting and developing compliance strategies for State and Federal air quality regulations
      • Proven problemsolving and analytical skills
      • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
      • Valid State driver’s license
      • Experience with electric generation and/or cement manufacturing air permitting and regulatory programs (Texas preferred)
      • Familiarity with air dispersion modeling
