- MBChB or equivalent.
- MRCOG part 1 or equivalent.
- Full registration with General Medical Council
- Full MRCOG or equivalent
- Clear understanding of clinical governance. Experience of audit participation
- Be honest and open and act with integrity. You are personally responsible for your professional practice and should be able to justify your actions. You do not discriminate unfairly against patients or colleagues. Satisfactory pre-employment checks.

Job summary
Applicants are invited for the above post to commence as soon as possible.
This post is 12 month fixed term post to cover an average 48 hours per week. This includes the elective and emergency duties in a shift system roster. There is potentially scope to extend the contract beyond the twelve months. Part-time applications will also be considered.

Main duties of the job
The Senior Clinical Fellow will operate within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, supported by a senior workforce comprising registrars, Specialty and Associate Specialist (SAS) doctors, and consultants. The role will be situated within the Directorate of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with the post holder reporting directly to a designated supervisory consultant. In exceptional cases, the post holder may be required to undertake additional duties in response to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
Applicants must have successfully completed Foundation Training and possess prior clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
