Managing the day-to-day activities of eCommerce and digital marketing projects, including overseeing project scope, responsibilities, timelines, and dependencies.
Developing contingency and mitigation plans for campaign, platform, data, or vendor‑related risks.
Directing and motivating cross‑functional teams (marketing, product, engineering, vendors, and agencies).
Evaluating and managing deliverables to ensure business, brand, and performance expectations are achievable, defined, and met.
Monitoring project outcomes for significant deviations in schedule, or performance KPIs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and processes.
Leading stakeholder communication and expectation management across marketing, product, engineering, data, and business leadership.
Develops, refines, and communicates tactical plans for assigned eCommerce and digital marketing initiatives.
Provides the appropriate level of detail to support channel, platform, and growth strategy planning.
Demonstrates the value of aligning campaign‑level execution with broader digital and business strategy.
Ensures attention to dependencies across marketing, product, engineering, data, business and vendor deliverables.
Plans for allocation of resources in line with business goals, marketing priorities, and technology constraints.
Ensures planning processes are integrated with the overall business roadmap.
Oversees end‑to‑end delivery to ensure initiatives launch on time and meet expectations.
Reports dependencies, conflicts, and milestone status to project leadership and stakeholders.
Supports and enables team adoption of project management and collaboration tools.
Ensures project issues, blockers, risks, and decisions are documented and escalated appropriately.
Develops templates and frameworks for planning and communication governance (planned and ad-hoc) with internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
Revises work plans to ensure intermediate milestones are achievable.
Facilitates regular status and working sessions with project teams.
Tracks and reports overall project progress and delivery health, using schedules, roadmaps, scorecards, and dashboards.
Differentiates assumptions, perspectives, and historical performance data.
Evaluates past decisions to improve future outcomes.
Assesses and validates decision options, indicating pros and cons and potential impacts.
Advises stakeholders in synthesizing data, trade‑offs, and alternatives.
Applies consultative, consensus, or directive decision styles as appropriate.
Oversees reporting across delivery, performance, and financial metrics.
Uses project management, workflow, and analytics platforms to monitor progress and readiness.
Leverages AI‑enabled tools to accelerate reporting, analysis, and insight generation.
Reviews and validates data accuracy and reporting outputs.
Tracks quality and effectiveness of eCommerce and digital marketing tools.
Documents lessons learned and best practices aligned to product, engineering marketing, and business needs.
Supports platforms and tools rollouts in collaboration with technical and business teams.
Applies governance processes related to platform changes, campaign execution, and workflows.
Leads continuous improvement of delivery processes and expanded capabilities.
Strong project management experience with proven communication, organization, and execution skills
Demonstrated stakeholder management across business, technical, and leadership teams
Experience leading digital transformation initiatives, preferably in ecommerce and/or digital marketing
PMP certification (strongly preferred)
Hands‑on experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and competing priorities in enterprise environments
Skilled at translating between technical teams and business stakeholders
Experience working in matrixed organizations with complex governance models
Proficiency with project and delivery tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, MS Project, Adobe Workfront, Aha!, MS Office 365 Suite)

Job Summary:
Oversees project management, planning, and organization to enable the implementation of multiple and complex eCommerce and digital marketing initiatives, including platform enhancements, campaign execution, and marketing technology integrations by leveraging enterprise project management, roadmap, workflow and AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Aha!, MS Project, Adobe Workfront, Copilot).

Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $169,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
