Job Description
- Req#: 1324
- Provide safe pre and post-operative delivery of patients from the Reception, Operating Room and Post Anaesthesia Care Unit
- Plan and co-ordinate with Same Day Admission (SDA) centre to ensure patients are fetched and sent to the respective operating theatres in a timely manner
- Perform circulating and shuttling nurse services assigned
- Be knowledgeable in the functions, usage, care and maintenance of equipment and instrumentation
- Prepare and check that anesthetic equipment are ready for anesthesia procedures in a multi-disciplinary setting
- Provide and input accurate information in the Operating Theatre Management system as well as Peri-operative Nursing Care Record
- National ITE Certificate in Nursing or equivalent recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board
- Enrolled with the Singapore Nursing Board
- Prior experience working in Operating Theatre (OT), Post Operative Care Unit and Anaesthetic Unit (AU) will be an advantage
You will provide safe Peri-operative nursing care for patients within the operating room, and provide guidance to patients and caregivers on the prescribed care and treatment required for the medical conditions. You will assist Registered Nurses in supporting stress and emergency situations involving patient care.
