      You will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, providing comprehensive HR support across multiple functional areas. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional with experience in manufacturing or defense environments who thrives in a fast-paced setting.

      What You Will Do

      • Consult with, advise, and coach local leaders and employees on a range of issues related to managing people and developing organizational capabilities, including performance, career development, promotions, terminations, etc.
      • Communicate and interpret HR policies and procedures
      • Handle terminations and corrective action issues
      • Perform exit interviews with terminating employees
      • Coordinate and support employee engagement initatives
      • Lead employee relations investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action processes
      • Assist in administering the compensation program including the preparation and execution of the annual performance appraisal process
      • Communicate and interpret benefit policies and changes
      • Administer leaves of absence, FMLA, workers’ compensation and STD / LTD processes
      • Process new hires and onboard all new employees; conduct new hire orientation
      • Ensure timely submittal and processing of employee data via HRIS systems (original new hire data and changes, as appropriate)
      • Work closely with payroll department

      Education & Experience Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
      • At least 5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience; manufacturing or defense industry highly preferred
      • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
      • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
      • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
      • Proficiency with HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors, ADP)

      U.S. Citizenship required.
