      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Support the Security Operations Center (SOC) and provide on-call support as needed
      - Gather and manage event and incident evidence for analysis
      - Review monitoring events and alerts to identify Indicators of Compromise (IOCs)
      - Assist in vulnerability management activities, including working with system administrators to ensure timely patching
      - Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments at various levels, including network and application

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security Analyst roles in government or large commercial environments
      - Experience with SOC operations and tools such as Windows Defender and Microsoft Sentinel
      - Familiarity with vulnerability management tools like Tenable and Qualys
      - Knowledge of FISMA, NIST, and U.S. government information security requirements
      - Technical training or equivalent certifications in relevant fields

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certifications such as CompTIA Sec+, CISSP, CRMA, CRISC, CISA, GIAC, or similar
      - Experience with ServiceNow and conducting risk assessments
      - Familiarity with NIST, OMB, and RMF guidelines
      - Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
      - Initiative and judgment in responding to security alerts and incidents
