      Position Overview

      The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects, from planning through execution and closeout. This role requires coordination across engineering, operations, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery aligned with scope, schedule, and budget.

      We are open to multiple engagement types depending on candidate experience and availability.

      Key Responsibilities

      Project Management & Delivery
      • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including network deployments, cabling, and multi-site rollouts
      • Manage multiple concurrent projects with responsibility for scope, timelines, and budgets
      • Serve as the primary client-facing contact, including executive-level status updates
      • Review RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to ensure quality, completeness, and alignment with client requirements
      • Develop and maintain project documentation, including statements of work, schedules, and closeout reports
      • Coordinate internal engineering teams and field resources for project execution
      • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively
      • Ensure all milestones are achieved and projects are delivered on time and within budget


      Sales & Operations Alignment
      • Identify and escalate new business opportunities within existing client accounts
      • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction
      • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve project challenges
      • Uphold GigaKOM standards for operational excellence and continuous improvement


      Basic Qualifications
      • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a focus on IT infrastructure or network-related projects
      • Proven experience managing full project lifecycles from initiation to completion
      • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams
      • Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including Cisco, HPE, Aruba, and structured cabling (fiber, CAT5/6)
      • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders
      • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget


      Preferred Qualifications
      • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification strongly preferred
      • Experience working with public sector or education clients, including familiarity with E-Rate programs
      • Knowledge of ITIL or IT Service Management frameworks
      • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar
      • Experience working with U.S.-based clients preferred
      • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
