      Job summary

      We are looking for Physiotherapists with experience working in an MSK setting, who have significant knowledge and skill in the assessment and management of patients presenting with a wide range of MSK conditions.

      You will be a strong team player with excellent communication and health coaching skills. You will be involved in the delivery and development of pathways and will support the development of junior staff and students.

      You will embrace innovation and integrated working and will be committed to following best practice to ensure patient centered care.

      You will be actively involved in service development and will need to work on your own initiative as well as being responsible for the development of junior staff.

      You will be willing to work across NEE at multiple sites to meet the needs of the service

      One job is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave

      Main duties of the job

      • To work as part of the integrated team to deliver therapeutic input to patients in a clinic setting with the aim of returning them to maximum independent living, within a stimulating environment actively promoting self-management on all activities of daily living.

        Working as an autonomous practitioner, the post holder will provide specialist input to all patients that fall within their specialist field of expertise

        Work with colleagues across health, social care, mental health and voluntary sector to ensure holistic and joined up delivery of care.

        Empower patients to make decisions about their own care and encourage them to exercise their rights and choices, signposting them to relevant community and voluntary services and supporting patient's carers and assistants with management of risk.

      • Registered physiotherapist with HCPC
      • Professional knowledge and Skills acquired through a combination of formal training, short courses and experience to degree level or equivalent
      • Relevant post qualification training through short courses and/or further study and experience for example splinting and injections, working towards post graduate level of study.
      • Evidence of on-going CPD

      Desirable

      • Registered member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
      • Recognised registered qualification and further courses and experience relevant to role

      • Proven experience working within MSK
