      JOB PURPOSE:

      The Senior Project Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic and tactical capital engineering projects across multiple manufacturing sites. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. The Senior PM serves as a cross-functional leader, collaborating with engineering, operations, maintenance, procurement, and leadership teams to deliver high-impact improvements in manufacturing performance, capacity, safety, and quality. This role requires a solid background in project development and management in manufacturing environments in CPG and/or the pet food industry.

      DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
      • Lead the end-to-end execution of capital and process improvement projects from concept through startup, including scoping, planning, budgeting, procurement, construction, and commissioning
      • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
      • Coordinate internal stakeholders, contractors, and equipment suppliers to ensure alignment and accountability
      • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
      • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards
      • Support development of capital plans and business case justifications
      • Lead project reporting and communication with leadership and site teams
      • Conduct post-project reviews and ensure knowledge transfer and documentation
      • Technical support to factory and corporate maintenance functions.
      • Development and review of technical and operational standards.


      QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required).

      • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, etc.)


      • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a project management role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.


      • Proven experience delivering capital projects in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge and experience with Project Management and Early Management principles.


      • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, plant layouts, utilities, and industrial equipment


      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and project teams.


      • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.


      • Ability to travel up to 30%, including irregular hours/nights/weekends as needed


      • Proficiency with project management software to develop and maintain project plans.


      • Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office applications
