Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budget requirements.

Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams, including logistics specialists, analysts, and other stakeholders. Provide guidance and direction to ensure project success.

Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure the smooth execution of logistics projects, including personnel, equipment, and budgetary resources.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery, supply chain operations, and cost-effectiveness.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party logistics providers, suppliers, and carriers to optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within the logistics and supply chain functions.

Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and logistics efficiency.

Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.

Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and senior management, providing regular updates on project status.

Budget Management: Manage project budgets, control costs, and report financial status to senior management.

Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the logistics department, seeking innovative solutions and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years experience in logistics project management
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools
- Masters Degree
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Senior Project Manager-Supply Chain
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager, Supply Chain who will report to the VP, Transformation, and who’ll be tasked with planning, executing, and managing logistics projects to ensure the efficient movement of goods and materials. This position involves strategic planning, coordination, and leadership to achieve project objectives and improve supply chain efficiency.
