What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct property risk engineering field inspections for existing and prospective policyholders
- Generate technical property risk engineering reports identifying exposures and recommending controls
- Collaborate with Risk Analysts to resolve identified property risk engineering deficiencies
- Mentor junior Risk Engineering Consultants in report generation and account management
- Coordinate with internal and external resources on risk assessments of varying complexity
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline preferred
- 8+ years of technical and/or engineering-related experience
- Extensive property experience, including high-hazard property exposure
- Strong understanding of NFPA Codes and Standards or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in high-hazard industrial accounts and complex manufacturing operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic knowledge of Excel
- Ability to travel by car regularly with limited air travel
