What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead a 5-person global web tech team in developing innovative UX features for the IKEA Kreativ 3D web app
- Design and engineer compelling user experiences and smart architectures
- Serve as the go-to expert for complex front-end technical challenges
- Coordinate roadmaps with distributed tech teams and work closely with IKEA for integration
- Promote best practices to enhance stability and velocity within the development process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong foundations in Computer Science, with a degree from a competitive university considered a bonus
- Expert skills in modern Javascript and Typescript, particularly within the React framework
- Minimum 5 years of experience engineering full-stack codebases live in production
- Proven experience guiding teams of 3 or more on significant projects
- Familiarity with web devops, CI/CD, and quality assurance best practices
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience building consumer internet applications
- Background in programming 3D graphics technologies
- Prior experience in a startup environment
- Ability to adjust schedule for meetings with European teams
- Knowledge of tracking, debugging, and performance optimization techniques
