- Spring semester dates: January 22, 2024 – May 3, 2024
- Hours: Must be able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week . Most of your work hours should be completed during core business hours, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET.
- Most of the work can be done virtually . Non-local students can work remotely. Local students may need to occasionally visit the lab to conduct research or testing, depending on the nature of the project to which you are assigned.

- This position typically reports to Software Engineer Manager or Sr Manager

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
POSITION PURPOSE:
The OrangeWorks Innovation Lab internship is a part - time opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students interested in furthering their skills in software development. This internship will allow students to learn the fundamentals of full-stack development while conducting research and building a prototype to help solve a given business problem.
The OrangeWorks internship is not your typical intern program . W e take business challenges from across T he Home Depot and ask you to create the solution by exploring how newer or emerging technologies can help move our business forward. You will not only be developing your prototype , but you will also learn about design thinking and be able to practice your presentation skills by sharing your work with your stakeholders.
