What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and mentor three to five engineers while hiring additional team members
- Provide feedback on product and technical specifications to guide engineers in improving quality
- Debug customer issues and ship small bug fixes while maintaining hands-on engineering skills
- Propose and lead initiatives to enhance processes, such as pull request reviews and interview improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and improve the developer experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience as a software engineer with a strong technical background
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role within an engineering team
- Ability to stay up-to-date with technology and coding practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on collaboration
