- Develop and maintain automation scripts using OUTA for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Design reusable test assets and templates within the OUTA framework, including XML configuration files and data setup scripts.
- Implement and customize Groovy scripts within OUTA for dynamic data handling and business logic validations.
- Integrate OUTA with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) for automated regression execution.
- Perform data-driven testing to simulate real-world utility scenarios (billing, payments, meter reads, collections, etc.).
- Validate UI screens, REST/SOAP web services, and integration endpoints within Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Generate and analyze execution reports, identify failed cases, and provide root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with QA leads, functional testers, and developers to align automation scope with release timelines.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal QA teams on OUTA usage and best practices.
- Support Oracle CCS patch and upgrade testing to validate regression stability.
- Strong experience with Oracle Utilities Testing Accelerator (OUTA), Groovy, Java, and XML.
- Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CCS Database Actions, and SQL.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle CCS.
- Ability to design and implement automated testing strategies for complex integrations.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Prior experience in regression testing for Oracle CCS implementations.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automation frameworks.
Job Description:
As a Software Tester / QA Analyst, you will lead regression testing activities for a new cloud-based billing system (Oracle CCS) and its integrated third-party applications. This role involves creating and executing test scripts using Oracle Utilities Testing Accelerator (OUTA), mentoring internal resources, and ensuring comprehensive regression coverage for non-base functionality and integrations.
