What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to reduce total cost of ownership for purchased services, drugs, and supplies
- Foster relationships with business owners and third parties to ensure sourcing process adoption
- Perform data analytics on strategic categories as needed
- Manage contracts and vendors for assigned service lines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree required; Graduate Degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of Sourcing experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with contracting, negotiation, and operational terms
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare industry trends, and outside market forces
