What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide support to Underwriters and agents with new business submissions, inquiries, and all matters related to Commercial Surety
- Process transactions within the employer’s systems, including new billings, adjustments, cancellations, and other policy changes
- Update financial information and complete calculations using provided applications
- Assist with underwriting initiatives and projects as requested by Underwriters
- Review and process renewal accounts, ensuring timely updates and follow-ups
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three years of surety experience, preferably in commercial surety
- Undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, or a related field preferred
- Typically, six or more years of experience in business process design or operations
- Strong understanding of project management concepts and techniques
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Process-related certifications preferred, such as CPCU, CPU, or LOMA
- Experience with process analysis, design, and implementation
- Familiarity with business trends relevant to process design and operations
