What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Formulate and implement processes for tracking and analyzing hardware and software assets
- Perform financial analysis and verification for chargeback of managed titles and contracts
- Lead monitoring of software counts and propose alternatives for licensing optimization
- Partner with IT and business teams to ensure compliance and provide training
- Manage contracts and relationships to maximize value in inventory management and software licensing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing models and processes
- Experience in a Software Asset Management role or with relevant tools
- Knowledge of ITAM best practices and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple projects
- Experience with tools such as Coupa, ServiceNow, Snow License Manager, or Intune
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced ITAM skills and knowledge
- Experience with software licensing audits and compliance processes
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and continuous improvement methodologies
- Background in financial analysis related to IT asset management
