      Job Description

      What a Senior Manager, Payment Success & Tech Partnerships does at Visa:

      We are currently looking for a Senior Manager position candidate located in the Singapore Hub for CyberSource Sales Engineering team to manage the relationships with our growing portfolio on Tech Partners and the Merchant Optimizations function. The role has 2 distinct functions:

      Tech Partnerships: Enable our tech partners on the adoption of new products, solutions, and Solution Consult on client-level requirements. This individual will have the responsibility of ensuring that the Tech Partners are optimally integrated to Cybersource to ensure long term client success

      Payment Success: Lead the Authorization Improvement Program for CyberSource AP. The successful candidate will look to enhance the payment success metrics for the whole of the AP region. Merchant, Partners & Acquirers alike.

      Responsibilities:

      Tech Partnerships

      • Act as primary technical point of contact for our high value tech partners, addressing any technical challenges or payment questions that may arise.
      • Lead technical trainings and perform merchant business reviews as needed.
      • Work with Merchant Sales team to drive deal to closure from technical perspective.
      • Identify and pursue new tech partners, service providers and ecosystem participants in AP payment ecosystem.
      • Provide as-needed consultative guidance to tech partner for integration.
      • Educate partners on how CyberSource products and functionalities may contribute to their business models from technical perspective.

      Payment Success

      • Define and lead cross-functional strategies to optimize online merchant authorization performance in AP.
      • Drive conversations with regional counterparts in client-facing strategic engagements to define and deliver best in class authorization performance.
      • Work with Client Services, Risk Managers & Client Relationship Managers in conducting authorization performance reviews with clients to recommend corresponding adjustments that ensure continuous availability and optimize authorization performance.
      • Proactively understand how new products/services, as well as industry and technology trends impact on authorization performance and how in turn that impacts our clients.
      • Improve business effectiveness, review, and bring changes that deliver bottom-line performance.
      • Projects you will be a part of:

        You will be required to work closely with Regional Sales teams, Support teams, internal Operations teams, and Product teams to ensure success. The success of this role will be measured on growth of revenue, success of tech partners integration, payment success rate of key clients and managing end to end delivery of different CyberSource implementation projects. The candidate should be familiar with SaaS solutions related to bankcard/acquiring, payment gateway, payment security, and fraud prevention. The right candidate will have a passion for technical selling, solution consultancy, customer advocacy, and will see this role as contributing to the strategic evolution of our business.

        Furthermore, you will be at the forefront of Digital Payment Systems of the Asia Pacific Markets, Working with Digital Market leaders that shape the landscape of payments. Not only will you be working with Tech Partners but also large-scale Acquiring Banks, Merchants, Payment Service Providers, Digital Payment Providers and Market Leaders.

      This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

      Qualifications

      What you will need:
      • A track record of strong customer focus. 10 years of experience in the combination of Consulting / Account Management / Business Development roles. With a minimum of 5 years of client-facing roles in the payments industry
      • Minimum 5 years of client-facing roles in the payment industry.
      • Must have integration and implementation or service delivery experience.
      • Must have experience managing datasets across different platforms (Tableau, Excel, CSV)
      • Must be able to identify trends from huge datasets, with the end goal of providing recommendations targeted at top level executives.
      • Strong experience managing and liaising with merchants.
      • Comprehensive understanding of the CyberSource solutions is required.
      • Strong understanding of technical concepts, programming languages (REST, SOAP, Python etc.), and markup languages (HTML, XML).
      • Must have Card-not-present and Risk mitigation methodology experiences.
      • Must have strong knowledge of payment gateway and EMV 3DS / Payer Authentication.
      • Must have cross-function and cross-region working experience.
      • Strong knowledge of Visa systems including authorization, clearing systems and client connectivity.
      • Regional market knowledge and functional experience in bankcard operations, preferably Visa, supporting highly complex clients and or services.
      • Excellent in written and verbal communication skills.
      • Travel up to 30% is required based on business plan.
      What will also help:
      • Experience in Fintech industry is highly preferred.
      • eCommerce merchant background is highly preferred.
      • Experience in Consulting / Account Management / Business Development teams is preferred.
      • A self-starter with strong organization skills and resolution management.
