What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead end-to-end payroll processing for Argentina, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Oversee payroll tax operations, including reconciliations and statutory filings
- Serve as the subject matter expert on payroll legislation, labor laws, and tax rules for the region
- Manage vendor performance and resolve payroll-related issues with stakeholders
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields
- 5-7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-country payroll management in LATAM and/or Canada
- Strong hands-on experience with payroll tax compliance and statutory reporting
- Experience with global payroll platforms, specifically ADP Celergo
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and knowledge of payroll accounting and GL reconciliations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) certifications such as PCP or CPM
- Expertise in Brazil Payroll/eSocial and LATAM payroll compliance certifications
- Experience in a multinational or shared services environment
