What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee performance, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning for enterprise cloud infrastructure
- Drive automation and standardization of infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines
- Collaborate with operations, security, and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues and improve operational maturity
- Maintain service-level objectives (SLOs) and ensure reliability and observability for cloud-hosted platforms
- Manage complex infrastructure tasks and projects while ensuring security and compliance standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 6-7 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, operations, or architecture roles
- Deep experience deploying and managing services in public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proven experience with Windows Server administration, Linux systems, and hybrid infrastructure environments
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional (or equivalent certification)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CCNP or CCIE certification preferred, or equivalent experience in network design and security
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring/logging platforms (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana)
- Understanding of DevOps and SRE practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile operations methodologies
