  Job Description: .NET Technical Lead (API Development)

  Position Overview

  We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Technical Lead to spearhead API development and deployment on Microsoft Azure with 8+ years of IT experience in relevant technologies. The ideal candidate will ensure code coverage of at least 80%, conduct thorough code reviews, and lead a team of 6–8 developers. Knowledge of Angular is a strong plus, enabling seamless collaboration across front-end and back-end teams.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable APIs using .NET Core/.NET 6+.

  • Architect and manage hosting solutions on Azure, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

  • Establish and enforce coding standards, with a focus on achieving 80%+ unit test coverage.

  • Conduct regular code reviews to maintain quality, consistency, and compliance with best practices.

  • Mentor and manage a team of 6–8 engineers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers (Angular), QA, and DevOps.

  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications and services.

  • Drive continuous improvement in development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and agile practices.

  Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in .NET Core/.NET 8+, C#, and RESTful API design.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, Functions, API Management, Azure DevOps).

  • Proven track record of maintaining high code coverage with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).

  • Experience in team leadership, including mentoring, performance management, and workload distribution.

  • Solid understanding of software architecture patterns (microservices, layered architecture).

  • Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  ➕ Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of Angular for front-end integration.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) on Azure.
