      If so, an opportunity has arisen for you to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a friendly, self- motivated and dynamic individual to join our team providing clinical care within our Short Stay Paediatric Assessment Unit (SSPAU) at Northumbria Hospital. The SSPAU includes a Paediatric Emergency Department and a Short Stay Unit, providing care for children and young people across Northumberland and North Tyneside.

      We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and expert clinical practitioner in the acute care of children, young people and their families. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with the ability to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team.

      Main duties of the job

      The Children's Emergency Care Unit and 14 bedded short stayfacilitycaters for children aged 0-16 years who require emergency assessment and treatment with a 24 hour inpatient facility if required.

      We also provide supportto medical staff in clinicand day case settingsat North Tyneside General Hospital andWansbeck General Hospital.

      Successful candidates will be able to access preceptorship, clinical supervision and a suite of training and development opportunities to equip them to work in an emergency care environment and further their careers.
