Job Description

Vigilant scanning of assigned pool area.
Responding to emergencies and rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning.
Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure safety of patrons
Maintaining order in swimming areas.
Maintaining cleanliness of aquatics areas to promote an enjoyable member experience.
Pre and Post shift pool area set-up and tear-down.
Possess nationally recognized certifications to include: Lifeguarding, Pro CPR/AED, First Aid;
Red Cross Certification, preferred.
Customer service oriented, with great interpersonal skills.
A strong swimmer trained and certified in water rescue.
Possess ability to provide multisensory instruction: auditory, visual, tactile, kinesthetic
Required to work holiday weekends which may include Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day shifts.
Pre and Post-Summer hours available between May 1 - June 17th and September 9 - October 31st.
Midtown is looking for seasonal Lifeguards to watch over our pools and ensure the safety of our aquatics areas.
