VACANCY: The Valley View Public School District is seeking individuals to fill teaching positions for the 2026 Summer School Program.
Orientation: TBD
Date: June 1, 2026 – June 18, 2026
Staff Hours: 7:00am-12:00pm
Location: Bolingbrook High School
The Summer School program will serve students with moderate to severe disabilities and will include certified teaching and related-services staff. Instructional class time is 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
QUALIFICATIONS:
JOB SUMMARY: The teachers are responsible to report to the Summer School Principal for: planning instructional lessons that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; and employing effective instructional techniques.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Teachers will be paid $40.00 per hour. Applicants must work the entire summer session. No vacation times or subs are acceptable.
