What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage product specifications, bills of materials, and procurement of sample products from preferred suppliers
- Enter and maintain purchase orders and assist with invoice reconciliation and audits
- Lead sample manufacturing, inventory management, and distribution for major sales campaigns
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm order schedules and ensure quality standards are met
- Analyze data to identify supply chain issues and suggest process improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5+ years of relevant supply chain experience
- Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional experience collaborating with internal and external partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (e.g., Google Sheets)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in supply chain or operations within education publishing or hands-on learning companies
- Ability to proactively complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Enthusiastic about sharing findings and actionable insights
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems, particularly Salesforce and NetSuite
